Beijing News September 1, China mobile phones said Monday, iPhone will not be through an exclusive supply agreement signed by China Unicom to achieve sales in China.
Apple spokesman Nate Li - Harrison (Natalie Harrison) via e-mail said: "I can confirm that this is not an exclusive agreement."
But she declined to say apart from China Unicom, Apple is still negotiating with those companies.
China Mobile chairman Wang Jianzhou said earlier this month, China mobile phone is still interested in China to provide iPhone.

Shares of China Unicom in Hong Kong rose 2.1% Monday, to close at 10.90 Hong Kong dollars. The Hang Seng index was down 1.9%, to close at 19724. |
