The touchscreen allows users to interact with in-game elements more directly than by pressing buttons; for example, in an included chatting software, PictoChat, the stylus is used to write messages or draw. The latest iteration of vin console, dubbed the DSi, has two larger TFT-LCD screens at 3.25 inches, capable of displaying 256K colours.
